There's never ever ever ever ever been a show like Veggie Tales! The latest DVD from the friendly veggies, 'Twas the Night Before Easter, has the usual good moral and delightful spoofs everyone has come to expect from the show. This time, the moral is about the true meaning of Easter, and the spoof is an American Idol-style audition -- featuring former AI finalist Melinda Doolittle as the newest veggie, singing sensation Cassie Cassava. (You're going to look for cassava recipes now, aren't you?)
The DVD “eggs-tra” bonus features include “The Hopperena” Silly Songs Sing-Along, a spotlight on Melinda Doolittle and an Easter cards interactive matching game.'Twas the Night Before Easter would be a fun addition to an Easter basket.
